I just read a report on CNN that many travelers have opted out of flying this Thanksgiving holiday which means that for the 12 day holiday period they expect 37,000 less travelers per day! Sounds like good news to me, but of course they say beware just because there are less people does not mean you will get around easier. Rental Car Prices for Thanksgiving

In the words of my favorite “Puss In Boots” HOLY FRIJOLES  – I was just checking on a car rental for Thanksgiving and prices are over $800 for a 4 day rental on a full size car. YIKES! I even checked AAA rates and the prices was the same. Isn’t there some way to save on a rental car over the holidays? Last year we only paid $500 which is the average but $800 – me no like.
